Hotel Eastlund set to check in to Portland’s Lloyd District

PORTLAND, Ore. – The Hotel Eastlund, described as a luxury boutique hotel, is under construction in Portland’s Lloyd District. It is on the site of the former Red Lion Hotel.

The 170-room hotel will include meeting space and two restaurants. The owner and developer is Seattle-based Grand Ventures Hotel. The hotel will include designer furnishings, floor-to-ceiling windows, a 24-hour business center and high-speed Internet throughout.

The full-service Altabira City Tavern will be on the rooftop, and it will include fire pits and views of the skyline and the Willamette River. The Citizen Baker will be adjacent to the hotel lobby. It will offer artisan baked goods, coffee, wine, pastries and a selection of soups, salads and sandwiches.

Portland-based Holst Architecture designed the hotel. It is set to open in May 2015.
